The Jackson on Ice Skating Camp was a
fantastic opportunity for my 8 year old
daughter! She improved dramatically over the
three weeks she attended. After seeing the
quality of the instruction, both from a
technical and artistic standpoint, and how
motivated my daughter was, we decided to take
advantage of this opportunity and attend all
three sessions. We also had a number of
private lessons with some of the instructors.
Michael Stifounine worked up a very cute
routine for her and she was thrilled to be put
in to the final show of the season. The whole
experience was very rewarding for her and we
hope to see Jackson on Ice back next year! For
anyone whose child is serious about skating,
this is an opportunity not to be missed!

For the past two summers we have enjoyed
taking our daughter to the Jackson On Ice
Skate camp. She loves the opportunity to meet
and to train with such an incredibly high
caliber of talent. This summer she learned an
awesome Russian Folk Dance from Andrei
Bannikov and attending classes instructed by
Elisabeth Manley, Marina Pestova and Marat
Akbarov, Rossanna Tovi, Craig Heath, and Akop
Manoukian. The highlight of the camp is seeing
world class skaters performing in the evening
ice shows.

The Jackson on Ice Skating Camp has touched
the hearts and souls of skaters who would not
be able to afford traveling to a large ice
skating training center. These young skaters
now have the same opportunities as the
children in large communities! They have
fostered their dreams not to mention their
technical skating abilities. For that , I am
grateful.

Its different to learn from professionals who
are still skating, Craig Heath said, because
they can relate with the students on the ice and
demonstrate exactly what the students need to
do.

“I attended the Jackson skating camp with
several of my students. My students loved the
camp, especially the opportunity to take
lessons from skaters such as Alexei Urmanov.
They have been more excited about skating
since the camp and look forward to returning
next summer.”
